2010 Palm Beach International Boat Show

Nauticomp to Present Glass Bridge Displays at the 2010 Palm Beach International Boat Show.

Marine displays manufacturer Nauticomp will showcase its range of Glass Bridge displays® & Signature II Sunlight Readable displays in booths M5 (Martek of Palm Beach), 525-526 (Langer Krell Marine Electronics, Offshore Connection) and 600 (IMS) at the 2010 Palm Beach International Boat Show, March 25-28.

Nauticomp’s rugged, waterproof, multi-functional Glass Bridge Displays are the industry’s largest, flush-mount displays in the smallest chassis frame. Ten source inputs can be selected manually or automatically by an external commander controller. Optical enhancing of the bonded glass provides outstanding clarity and readability, even in full sunlight. Advanced dynamic brightness allows the user to control the brightness levels of each input. Efficient LED backlight technology reduces power draw at all levels. The Nauticomp Dim to Red feature makes the Glass Bridge Display ideal for night operation, dimming to 2 nits in black or red.

12”,15” & 19” daylight viewable models for pilothouse applications, sunlight viewable for bridge stations. A 21.3” model is designed especially for superyacht pilothouse and bridge applications.

With LED backlight technology, the 12,”15” & 19” bonded glass displays feature extra slim casings, specially designed for installation on bridges where space is at a premium.

Optical enhancing of the bonded glass provides outstanding clarity and greatly improves the ability to use the displays in direct sunlight. At night, they can be easily dimmed to any level from 0 to 100% and selectable as red on any input. With 6 inputs accepting DVI, VGA, NTSC, PAL and SECAM, Signature II displays can show any choice if information selected separately or combined, with the resolution scalable up to SXGA. AC and DC power options.
