Debunking Major Myths about LED Display Monitors

LED (light emitting diode) display monitors are becoming a huge staple across many industries. With their multifaceted capabilities, it’s no wonder that more and more companies are choosing to use this innovative technology to enhance their marketing strategies. Countless companies have successfully and seamlessly incorporated LED displays in their daily operations to help boost productivity, achieve sales goals, and establish strong customer interactions.

Interfaces for these displays have never been easier to install and use. Yet, despite all of these indisputable benefits, there are still many myths surrounding LED displays that are masquerading as fact. For your convenience, we’ve taken the liberty of debunking a few of them.

Myth #1: Staring at LED Screens in the Dark Causes Eyestrain

This is not necessarily true. Research shows that the contrast between the brightness of a screen in conjunction with the lighting in a room doesn’t cause any serious or permanent damage to your eyes. In short, you might have to strain your eyes a little until they adjust to the lighting in the room and on the screen, but that doesn’t mean your vision will be damaged in any way. It just takes your eyes a little time to adjust to the colour, brightness, and contrast between a dark room and a bright screen, but this is perfectly normal.

Myth #2: Installation, Maintenance, and Content Management Are Expensive

The cost of installing, maintaining, and modifying content on LED display monitors depends largely on the size of the screen and the formatting of the content itself. Initial installation fees apply, as always. However, installing a state-of-the-art LED display that allows you to digitally upload, edit, and change content will ultimately save you a lot of money when it comes to advertising.

And the overall return on investment, increased customer impressions, and low maintenance costs are well worth it. Rather than hiring a company to send someone to manually change out static signs every couple of weeks, you can now create new ads and schedule their releases through an easy-to-use digital interface.

Myth #3: Digital LED Displays Have Limited Uses

Actually, the opposite couldn’t be truer in this case. As technology continues to quickly advance, more and more industries are adopting digital signage and display technology as an essential component of their marketing strategies. Retailers, schools, religious institutions, government buildings, the Marines Corps, and military operations have all switched to using this excellent technology.

Myth #4: Digital Displays Have Slow Response Times

As mentioned, improvements are always being made in the digital signage industry, particularly when it comes to LED monitors. That includes speeding up response times to reduce lagging and allow users to complete their tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible. Increased touch response accuracy also makes for fewer data entry errors, which is a huge asset to your business.
